Our Certification ensures safe and proper use. The Certification takes about 30 minutes and includes video tutorials, written lessons, and quizzes. It's sent as a part of your order, or get access on the Caregiver page.
STEP 5
Pay the balance. We ship your SAW.
Once your caregiver is certified, the $950 balance unlocks. Your SAW ships ready to use, no assembly required.

If your caregiver doesn't pass, we'll set up a call to assess. Switch caregivers, find a professional, or refund your deposit. Your $199 is yours until the moment we ship.

We can’t promise. But SAW looks like a walker, not a medical device. Most parents accept it more easily than they accept a stairlift, because it doesn’t announce what’s wrong. Many families tell us their parent goes from skeptical to willing after the first successful trip upstairs together.
Yes. SAW works on any stairs within a 6 to 9 inch rise, and a 9.5 inch run or deeper, indoor or out. Front porch, garage step, the doctor’s office, a friend’s house. It folds and rides in the trunk so you can bring it everywhere.
SAW weighs 14.64 pounds. The caregiver lift requirement is 35 pounds (per the IFU). If you can carry a full grocery bag up the stairs, you can manage SAW.
Your $199 deposit is refundable. If the patient qualification shows SAW isn’t right for your parent, we refund the deposit and point you to alternatives we know of. Your $199 is yours until the moment we ship.
Stairlifts cost $2,000 to $8,000, require a contractor, and only fix one staircase. SAW is $1,149, ships to your door, and works on any indoor or outdoor stairs within a 6 to 9 inch rise, and a 9.5 inch run or deeper. SAW also folds, so it travels with them. To the doctor’s office, a friend’s house, anywhere they need to go. Stairlifts solve one staircase. SAW solves all the stairs in their day.
Most standard residential stairs work. 6 to 9 inch rise, 9.5 inch run or deeper. Carpet is fine. SAW needs at least one handrail on the staircase (per the IFU). Narrow or unusually steep stairs may not fit. The qualification quiz covers exact dimensions. If your stairs don’t qualify, we refund the deposit.
SAW is built around the patient sitting between every step, so it asks for much less standing than walking unassisted. The patient needs to be able to stand from a chair with some help and stand briefly to step onto the next stair. The full qualification covers the exact strength and balance requirements. If they don’t qualify, we refund the deposit.
